Helo, if i want to skip the auto parching in catalina patcher, do i simply need to click "skip" on the post installation menu prior to installing the OS ? or is there any "off" toggle somewhere else ? @dosdude1

Before creating your installer, deselect the "Auto-apply Post-install Patches" option in the "Options" menu.

ahh, i see. Thank you very much. Btw i sent you an email few days back about your fimrware updater standalone installer. But i understand you must be very busy. I asked whether your firmware also incorporate the SATA 3 fix for 2011 model?

Well, apparently thats not a case with several 15 and 17 units. Thus apple released 2.3 EFI firmware update back in 2012. unfortunately, one unit i acquired seems like never applied this update prior to updating to yours. It simply wont work with a SATA 3 drive.
