@dosdude1 hey, thanks a ton for your unofficial patchers! Love running Catalina on my mbp 8,1 and have you to thank for it. Quick question, do the boot patches effect installing Windows? I'm trying to get Windows installed and haven't been able to with or without boot camp.
No, Windows should install fine. Ensure you create a second, FAT-formatted volume manually using Disk Utility, then boot off the Windows installation DVD, format that volume, and install. Note that a DVD must be used, you CANNOT install Windows from a USB drive on that system.
