@dosdude1 So, I made a Catalina patcher USB and I’m following your tutorial video. After I press reinstall macOS and it goes through everything and reboots it goes back to recovery mode. Any ideas?

Did I need to reboot after installing the latest bootROM?
The installation of that package is only setting up the BootROM update, it will start upon reboot. You MUST have the system plugged in, and you MUST be running 10.11 or later.

Yep, I was on 10.11. , hmm maybe I should try the Mojave patcher to see what luck I have with it

So, now that I have this bootROM installed will I be able to go back down to Lion to update to El Capitan? Being that this is basically my only option.
