@dosdude1 So, I made a Catalina patcher USB and I’m following your tutorial video. After I press reinstall macOS and it goes through everything and reboots it goes back to recovery mode. Any ideas?

I have no clue as to why this isn’t wanting to work, I’m just taken right back into the utilities every time
Did you ensure your machine was plugged in during the process? If it works, it should reboot play a long beep tone, and show an Apple boot screen with a trick progress bar.

Did I need to reboot after installing the latest bootROM?

The installation of that package is only setting up the BootROM update, it will start upon reboot. You MUST have the system plugged in, and you MUST be running 10.11 or later.

After pressing the reinstall macOS button and it goes through everything and reboots it comes up with the progress bar, goes about 1/4 of the way, resets barely goes and then boom into the utilities it goes
