Greetings. Having issue with Catalina Patcher on Macbook 6,1 that was running Mojave Patcher no problem. Booted, Formatted SSD as apfs, kicked install off on new drive, installs and reboots. It will not boot from SSD to complete. only boots into usb again. Any Ideas? Thanks.
System firmware is not up to date. This is explained on the Important Info section of the webpage.

I am in the same boat. Unable to boot to drive. Had Mojave installed on a Mac Mini 4,1 just fine but didn't realize the Mac Mini 4,1 was affected by this. Is there a way to apply the patch on the installing screen?

Was able to resolve this issue and install by running the firmware update file from a separate usb via the installer command in the terminal.
