      @dosdude1 thank you so much for breathing life into my old MacBook5,2 with your patchers. I grabbed the latest one and while creating my thumb drive I keep hitting an error after Restoring BaseSystem.dmg. Can I send you the logs to see if it helps?

      tried a couple different Macs and different thumb drives, even tried going back to 1.1.1 and saw the same error/logs. all the prior builds I used worked in the past.

      Turns out this is an issue with the latest Catalina release. I'll make a temp binpatch you can apply to Catalina Patcher to bypass that error check.

      Still works with GM build using your latest release. One thing I am running into is brightness control not working on MacBook 5,2. I tried wiping and installing fresh. Hasn’t worked since Catalina I believe.

      Yeah, I haven't implemented the patch for that yet, as I don't have my MB5,2 with me right now for testing.
