On the "Installation Method" screen, should I choose "Install to this Machine" (when the machine has been booted up into PB3) or "Create a Bootable Installer" (onto a USB stick and then use that to install back onto the drive containing PB3)?
Either way should work, though it'd probably be helpful in the future if you used a USB installer.

It's not installing a full system.. Is there a way to delete the "EFI Boot" script that's leftover from before? It shows up as a selection in the Startup Manager when rebooting holding the option key. I think it may be interfering with the regular patching procedure.
