Wow! Amazing work, as usual. But one question ? Why sticking the little PCB to the HDD? Simply because, if owner wants to upgrade with SSD, little welded wires could break, no?

Just because it fits best in that location, but I suppose it could be placed somewhere else as well. As long as you're at least somewhat careful, the wires won't break.
