At long last, I have finally finished "MuxHat", my custom drop-in board to permanently disable the defective dedicated GPU on a 2011 MacBook Pro! This board is designed to take place of the tiny bodge wires needed to perform this mod originally, making the mod much easier.pic.twitter.com/blB4KrVJsI

It now involves soldering only 3 wires (plus the 5 DyingLight module wires if using one), and then placing and heating the MuxHat board to solder it on. 2 resistors (4 if using DyingLight) also need to be removed.

A question, i've already changed the GPU via the apple program, but a few month later again it started be defective again. My 15" is in a drawer. It seems this Mac doesn't support metal thus not being able to update to Mojave. Would this module help to upgrade?
