And again, I really do not understand what this has to do with discussions of decolonizing the curriculum or pedagogy. Chicanx feminism, the Combahee River collective, a whole host of other resources discuss autoethnography in pedagogy etc.

I actually think this is the root of the issue. Chaucer is also something discussed and written about. But we accept more will come. We must also accept our students will, eventually, rewrite our dearest theories. And we have to make them feel they're about to do that, I think.
