I do not have my c.v. up anywhere for a reason, as I have explained, I had to give options for both the co-edited special issue that @Transliterature & I did (which slowed publication) b/c of worries of safety. I had to do the same with @Jessifer & my co-edited Disrupting DH. 2/

We had someone pull out b/c they were surrounded by the KKK & worried about family targeting. PH has spent years saying I have never published a thing. PH also spent years saying I do no digital work (though feel free to tell NEH and DHSI who seem fine w/ my DH project's 3/

white paper that I & colleague closed out one project in 2017/2018 & the fact I regularly teach one of the foundational DH classes at DHSI). I transitioned that project to a new institution. Ask any DH project what that is like & how long that takes. Ex. Digital Mappa 4/

He also obsesses over my books. Really that is none of his business. I don't know if people notice on here, but I deliberately never announce anything I have published that is not connected to a collaboration or special issue or volume w/ other authors I want to signal boost 5/

B/c of him & his obsession-w/-my-scholarly-stuff group. It's creepy & also potentially puts my collaborators etc. into being also examined & in danger b/c of alt-medieval types. He stalks me at UK conferences & online. & then goes on about the BIG LIE that I have not 6/

published anything. So what is that about? It's racist, sexist "know-your-place-aggression" specifically calibrated b/c it is in areas that he once did things in, like digital. It's white, mediocre, man, "you are replacing me" maneuver tinged w/ more BIG LIE conspiracy. 7/

This is how far he & the alt-medieval will go. They literally follow the handbook of white rage especially in relation to how to address what they feel is "their territory" medieval studies & the idea that BIWOC, me in this case, publishes or does scholarly work, makes them 8/

feel like BIPOC scholars, especially BIWOC scholars are "REPLACING THEM." It's the white racial resentment translated into medieval studies. As for his comment about recovery, I do not know him. Nor have I ever had a conversation about his substance-abuse past with him. 9/

As he always declares that I am telling some BIG LIE, and I explained that he stalks me in the UK but not in the US, I pointed to a receipt to corroborate my assertion. This fact is why he can't stalk or harass me at US conferences (though other alt-medieval types do). 10/

But yes, the BIG LIE that I haven't published anything or I haven't published these other things are TOP TALKING POINTS for the alt-medieval. Of course, as
@SLevelt demonstrated years ago, you could do a MLA bibliography search. But MLA bibliography must be too difficult. Fin 11/Show this thread
