When talking (i.e. not teaching) to large audiences (200-5000), I work hard to be lively, compelling--yes, even w power points. I move, modulate, change it up etc. I'm looking for tips for digital talks (on Zoom, etc) to large groups.Powerpoint tips? Presentation tips? Thank you!

Oh also, it exactly tells you how long your talk is.

I really like this! What I can tell you from my time with Zoom trainings/talks so far at my work is that I hate showing up live for what I could have watched as a recording on my own time; I would definitely prefer to use live time to spend more time expanding discussion or Q&A.

The worst offenders have scheduled their training for nearly 2 hours & when I logged in, they spoke off the ppt verbatim w no added input and ended 1.5 hours early. Don't get me wrong, I love finishing a meeting early, but I also could have booked all that extra time elsewhere.

Again, so helpful. For the REMOTE conference,
@nemersonian and I did that, inc a live interactive w audience. The conference actually tipped in my little head (I didn't know I was being filmed when I did the voice over).Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
