Didn’t anthro have a bunch of discussions about this recently especially after the anthro journal hot mess that happened. Also I believe the Black archaeologists have discussed this in regards to ethical method (what to do if you cannot find direct descendants).

I’m not sure if I know about the journal mess or not - there seem to be so many of those! Any pointers to where to look would be appreciated.

It’s the journal of American anthropology and the display of images on the cover of their last issue. But the discussions in
#anthrotwitter discuss that. Not to mentioning the attempt at renaming the Berkeley anthro building - Show replies
