#MedievalTwitter So SEMA, what's up? You decide you are going to address antiracism & have an HBCU panel but then you do this? Like literally, the I support medieval fascists & hang out w/ them along w/ people who have written recent things that teeter into far right rhetoric 1/

#MedievalTwitter including saying a version of "they are replacing us." You are discussing Charlottesville w/ only white medievalists several who are identified as at the bare minimum both-sides on the issue of antiracism & white supremacy. This is your "Where are We"? 2/pic.twitter.com/OL7YxePvv6

#MedievalTwitter Seriously folks, how is this not another version, but probably more teetering in the white supremacy direction of the Whose Middle Ages volume? And what programming committee thought this was a good idea? 3/

#MedievalTwitter Also, I and several other MOCs went to SEMA last year in order to address antiracism in the field. So do not @ me about I don't know what this conference is like. So you are in Greensboro thinking who want to address the field's antiracism w/ this panel? 4/

        Replying to @dorothyk98

It’s certainly a Look for a conference to present panels on racism in medievalism peopled by those who have been pushing it. I mean, yes, who would know better? But what a Look. (In my experience not too many conferences put harassers on their panels about harassment ...)
