They can write all the "Diversity" and code of conduct statements they wish, but if they refuse to do anything to enforce them, then what is the point @IMC_Leeds
I do not see the point of saying one shouldn't critique @IMC_Leeds if you are saying new voices changes things but then say they are not responsible for this issue. You can't have it both ways, either it's the director or it's the entire org including the planning committee.

The issue is structural but it has been funneled through one decision maker/director. Why it's that way is also a structural issue. Maybe a different structure would address these things with more forethought and/or not wait a year or unless public critique happens.

As I said, I’m new on the committee - and I have no knowledge of what happened, prior communication about it, or any response. But I will bring it up during my one-on-one w Axel tomorrow. That’s what I can do even as someone unknowledgeable about the specifics.
