As well, another issue surrounding ethics and data scraping: many people who use Twitter don't know what data scraping is and what data scraping can do; they don't know that their Tweets can be scraped and what the potential implications and possible effects of this are.

Aaaaannnnddd often institutions and corporations scrape data from Twitter users to exploit this data and make money from it without the Twitter users ever benefitting from this scraping of data. And that is super problematic.
