2/ I'm absolutely exhausted from having to work on the edges, or in the interstices, of several different disciplines for the past 3 decades. (That will have to be another thread, and not today.) I'm also exhausted from the stress of having repeatedly achieved top accolades ..

3/ .. in my several different fields over the years, but still being virtually powerless to defend or support my junior colleagues, who are having to fight so many of these fights for respect of themselves & their work without support of their institutions or senior scholars.
