What could be more racist than calling Belle da Costa Greene an "African American" who merely "passed for white"? Are they saying that she was too inferior for her European ancestry and white identity? They rave about alleged "racism" but don't see the racism in that?

have everything to do w/ financial survival. It seems fairly clear that there were people who knew but it also seems quite clear that she would have put herself and her family in danger and jeopardy if she identified as AA as her family had done previously. 3/
