She has a number of collaborative and other articles on this topic that go back for quite a bit including the 2-part one on early globalities:https://www.academia.edu/28913418/Early_Globalities_Global_Literatures_Introducing_a_Special_Issue_on_the_Global_Middle_Ages …

Published papers by Geraldine Heng on this in relation to theory, methodologies, terminology, and pedagogy have been systematically published since at least 2009. This is not a new discussion but one that we are again should credit her ongoing & longstanding critical+DH work.

She also likes to post everything on http://academia.edu . So it's pretty easy to find. So why retread on the same questions w/out clear reference to the work that has already been done. I find it frustrating b/c again, why shall we not give credit to the WOC scholar?

We are talking about over a decade of published and major grant funded work, special issues, etc.

This is literally an example about the politics of citation. And it's incredibly frustrating when now Global Middle Ages is a topic but without referencing the work that has come before particularly from one of the few non-white scholars in the field.
