However, I do have a basis. Vaccinations carry risk. It doesn’t matter how minuscule it may be. People have been hurt and people have died as a result. I may choose to decide how I want to negate that risk, because where there is risk, there must be choice. I stand for my choice.

Exactly the point. Facts matter more than your beliefs. Which is why parents have to make a decision regarding each and every vaccine for their children. Comparing to seatbelts is a really poor comparison.

Yes. Facts show that parents who believe anti-vaccine misinformation make bad choices, and leave their children at unnecessary risks.

@rectitude20 care to weigh in on this tripe? Facts? What facts, Dorit? What’s your source? What qualifies as a “bad choice?” Does anything else weigh in on “bad choice making” besides the holy disposition of vaccination status? Where are these “facts” cited, Dorit?

The fact that evidence from all around the world shows that #vaccines risks are small and far outweighed by their large benefits. http://sites.nationalacademies.org/BasedOnScience/vaccines-are-safe/ … https://www.skepticalraptor.com/skepticalraptorblog.php/ginger-taylor-writes-letter-vaccines-will-interesting/#Governments_support_vaccines_because_science …

Please provide evidence to show 1) This is the case 2) The studies are invalid.

I think antivaccine activists only count studies that support their beliefs as independent. They then count them as independent even when they’re funded by antivaccine sources.

yes, their brain will not allow cognitive reasoning, even if a death has resulted due to illness. It's everyone else's fault. Snopes is fake, all dr's lie, all drug manufacturers lie. only antivaxers and their leaders tell the truth. the whole entire world is lying about vacs.

when I ask them "who's cruise ship who you like to set sail on mine or your antivaxer friend's"? they get so angry & don't answer. I wonder why.

Like pro-vaxer’s only count the ones that support their beliefs? That are funded by pharmaceutical companies that stand to make huge profits from a clear “study”? Um-kay....
