So you are 96% likely to walk/sit by/ breathe the air of someone infected while flying. You can choose to rely only on air filtration (which helps on a running plane- NOT in TSA, boarding, etc), but this ends debate on utility of N95 use during air travel.

Sharing again. Our Overdose Prevention team reports a surge in ODs in Kensington. We can't be sure yet if the surge is due to nitazenes but certainly suspect it. Remember: -Carry extra Narcan. Nitazenes are 40x stronger than fentanyl. -Fent test strips cannot detect nitazenes.

Yesterday @PHLPublicHealth distributed an alert stating that nitazene analogs have been detected in Philly's illicit drug supply. Nitazene analogs are synthetic opioids up to 40x stronger than fentanyl. Carry extra #Narcan. Remember — Narcan freezes at temps below 5°F (-15°C).

What’s the cause of xylazine associated wounds? Looking at animal experience may give us a window into understanding this but more research is needed. I would love to hear from people with experience using xylazine in animal research and see biopsy results.

Let's be clear. Eli Lilly should apologize for increasing the price of insulin by over 1,200% since 1996 to $275 while it costs less than $10 to manufacture. The inventors of insulin sold their patents in 1923 for $1 to save lives, not to make Eli Lilly's CEO obscenely rich.
