I've been trying out thermochromatic inks by @SFXC_UK on paintings and this week I finally got something cool to show. This is a print with thermochromatic ink on top and I'm applying heat from the bottom. MAGIC!

To make this I printed an "incomplete" version of a picture and then with a stencil I applied a thin coat of thermochromatic ink on top. A lot of trial and error happened until I got here

In the beginning, I thought I could apply the ink with a regular brush but I soon noticed that a brush would apply too much ink and when heated the colour wouldn't turn transparent but white-ish

So I tried different ways to apply ink, from brush to a roll to a spatula. Also tried different papers (the last one is glossy photo paper, I love the effect even though it wasn't what I wanted)
