We will eventually end them, much too late, and these kids will grow up and hopefully some will write books about their experiences in the Internment camps of America.

Or become suicide bombers so we will atone for what happened there. Worked in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

Its so heartbreaking an scary that the America I used to know is so low that these babies have been traumatized into the next generation of what has happened in other countries that we have only read about! America has sat back an now has blood on its hands as well! Jesus weeps!

Tell their parents to stop dragging them through the desert.

Judge Sabraw should grant citizenship to all those (separated) children and their families. Then, maybe trump will think twice about traumatizing them, separating them, putting them in cages, losing them, and missing court-mandated deadlines.
-
Let's not forget the children who have died in Trumps care. They never rejoin their families.

Agreed. While I don't love that such a comment had to be made in the first place, I *do* love that someone voiced a very real concern and heartbreaking consequence of this, our THIRD shutdown by single party control of all three branches of government.

I like the way you said that: “SINGLE PARTY CONTROL OF CONGRESS” and REPUBLICANS have not accomplished a damn thing!

Let's not forget that Clinton had the same opportunity, for a time (in '92, and Democrats did the exact same thing: sat there with their heads up their own asses, TOTALLY SQUANDERING an opportunity to affect real & meaningful change while they had it...

I wonder if Trump gets donations/kickbacks from the for-profit prisons... I would bet he does.
-
Of course he does... They have found it quite cost effective to "house" children because then they get food & supplies from Dept. Of Agriculture & paid @ $750. A day for "Child storage"...

Years ago, Dick Cheney invested in Private Prisons in South Texas. What a coincidence! His indictment made the local news and the story was quickly killed from national coverage. Google Cheney Willacy Star County private prisons.

Intentionally traumatizing children by separating them from their parents and detaining them is emotional torture. Can you imagine how abandoned those kids must feel? These are crimes against humanity and I hope there’s a special place in hell for Trump&Co.
