I’m at a loss. No words. I’ve been part of two big families with Grant Imahara over the last 22 years. Grant was a truly brilliant engineer, artist and performer, but also just such a generous, easygoing, and gentle PERSON. Working with Grant was so much fun. I’ll miss my friend.

This is tragic. He was such a big part of my childhood, watching
@donttrythis and the gang do ridiculous stuff on Discovery pushed me to pursue science and is part of the reason I’m a first gen college grad and doctor. RIP Grant

Such terrible news. My family and I got to meet him in person at the World Maker Faire a few years back. He was funny and gracious. I propose a maker tribute to Grant. Learn a new skill, try a new project, get out of your comfort zone and build something crazy just for you. Then be brave and share it with the world. The crazy rocket toys I invented with my kids got us into the maker community and even to NASA
