    Re-upping: "An International Year of Millets?" India proposed in Oct/Nov 2017, evidently too late for action on such a worldwide project. But the idea has merit. Will we see action on it for an upcoming year?

    What worries me about AI The issue is not AI itself. The issue is control. Instead of letting newsfeed algorithms manipulate the user to achieve opaque goals, we should put the user in charge of the goals that the algorithms optimize for.
