I've heard of ES, but never used it. Is it something like ShaderToy? In terms of how it would look, like on a black-and-white CRT, but with green phosphors instead of white. It can only display the luminance (brightness) part of the video signal.
It's just a screensaver that generates fractals using the fractal flame algorithm. Your computer will generate some, but most it gets from other peoples' computers and it will merge with the ones on your computer.
