I don’t think I’ve seen more user profile customisation than I saw on Bebo in the mid 200X’s. Everyone’s profile these days are a blend of white, flat UI elements. Profile pictures and header banners aren’t it.

This appears to be where the road ends. No matter how many times I try to connect (I tried at least 20!), I get thrown to this screen. It seems #Titanfall is unplayable on PCs, not great

) issue. Every time I hit play, I'm now hit with "Try relaunching your game to continue...". This is painful, and I haven't even launched #Titanfall yet.

Ok, so it turns out I needed to create an #Origin account, I've done that. The process failed twice, with bizarre "it's our fault, this is embarassing" error messages, not particularly enthralled with this experience.

So the audio has finished, but now #Origin is erroring out, saying there's some sort of error linking my accounts, this is a bit of a pain.

Ok, finished! Now I can play #Titanfall. Whoops, no I can't. Now I need to unpack and install the #Titanfall audio apparently. Is this normal for PC games? Only ever playing console, I sort of expected to just hit "Download", and then hit play.

The #Titanfall download finishes, time to play! Actually, never mind. Now I need to install #EAOrigin, the installation process is simple, so not a massive hinderance, but definitely slows down the time taken to get into the game.

As luck would have it, I happen to have a mediocre machine with a 7th Gen i5 CPU & dedicated GeForce GTX GFX card, I'm not sure on the model, but hopefully enough to play this. The download starts.

As expected, I can't #Titanfall install it on my Mac. This is a terrible UX, I probably shouldn't be able to purchase any title without some sort of explicit warning that says "You won't be able to play this!".

So, I don't game on any of my hardware, so I've installed Steam fresh, and do a quick search for #Titanfall. I find it, great. It's also on offer. Steam explicitly says that it's Windows only, but let's me purchase anyway. Not sure if this is on

Apparently Xbox isn't compreshensive enough, I get that. Round 2, but this time not using consoles. I've read complaints following the Steam release that you're able to buy #Titanfall on Mac, even though it's not playable - my day to day machine is a Mac, so let's start there.

Yesterday’s #SaveTitanfall hack got me interested in seeing just how “broken” #Titanfall is. savetitanfall.com seems to indicate that it’s PC that’s having a whole lot of issues, but I played 7 years ago on Xbox, so I’m going to check that out.

So I didn’t win, but I didn’t do terribly. #Titanfall definitely doesn’t seem broken, at least not on Xbox.

I’m in, playing war games. Haven’t shot at a Titan in years, and running along walls makes me remember how I used to really want that in #ApexLegends, pretty cool.

Looks like Attrition is the game mode to play, ~60 people isn’t a whole lot, enough to get a game going though

A lot of people are complaining about Zoom meetings. You know what's worse? Commuting 1-2 hours each way to work to have face to face meetings all day. Get home when your kids are already asleep and repeat 5 days a week for the next 30 years. Sign me up for the Zoom meetings.
