So let's have a referendum on the deal at the end of the process. If everyone is happy with the deal then we'll all vote to take the deal.

Not opposed to that. But isn't it too late? We have already triggered the process, can it go backwards if we change our collective minds?

Differing legal opinion, but author of Art 50 says yes, can be reversed. The Q is going to Court imminently (now?) in Dublin.
