We had a talking budgie like that! When I'd start talking to the kids he'd start squawking & go through every word & phrase he knew. He'd mix them all up too like "you're a Christmas," etc. He'd stop if I'd pay attention to him. Drove us nuts but it was so funny.

Aw! That is too cute! AND funny! I have a dog that can't stand it if I'm on the phone for too long! He doesn't voice his annoyance, he grabs my arm that's holding the phone or if I'm sitting, he tries to get in my lap! He weighs 85 lbs! Animals, so many reasons why we love 'em!

Yes, animals r way smarter & engaged w what's going on than we think. Just lost my sweet dog that used to do that too. She'd start her crazy "tricks" when I'd be on the phone. She did so many human things I could write a book. She'd even sort her toys into 3 piles.

Oh Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear that. It's SO hard when they 'leave' us. Sounds like you have lots of good memories though huh! Maybe you should write a book! Especially if she sorted her toys! haha! Hugs to you.

True. Before we elect any politicians to powerful placements they should be made to be met by horses and dogs. They know what we can't, refuse to or deny seeing and they don't lie.

Absolutely, I love horses and dogs. Much more trustworthy than most people. And they have no vested interest. They won’t even take food, if they don’t trust you!
