    When pushes for a NP to be the legislative "Doctor of the Day" in order to be gender inclusive. I would like to recognize the women who did the same training their male colleagues did.

    PPP celebrates the women physicians who care for their patients & their families. With most of our board being made up of female physicians, PPP understands the importance of having female representation to lead medicine into the future.

    THIS!! Adoptive parents must be screened, home visits done, background checks, parenting classes, tens of thousands of dollars spent, grace periods for birth parents to potentially change their minds. "Oh wait! You want to abort?! ...Meh, sure. It's just a fetus."

    I have friends who've chosen to adopt babies internationally. Most of them because it's so hard to adopt in the US. For the life of me I can't understand why it's so hard for loving families to adopt American babies but 1000× easier to abort them.

    A NP concluded the baby was covered in bruises. A Dermatologist confirmed this was actually inaccurate. Do you understand how much training a NP has in Dermatology? ZERO. Shame on you . Do you have a law degree? Why? Apparently training doesn't matter to you.

    Anesthesiologist = Study of anesthesia. Nurse Anesthesiologist = Nurse study of anesthesia. I don’t care as long as I get paid the same. It’s a tough name CRNA especially for patients. The call me an anesthesiologist all the time. If I have the time to correct them I do.

    It's no longer a prerequisite for RNs to have 5 years experience before admission to a NP program. As online proprietary NP programs explode, so does the number of ill prepared NPs. Yes, they lack education and training, but know what they have an abundance of?? Confidence.

    When nurses take an online course and start demanding to be called "Doctor" in a clinical setting, patients suffer. Stop blurring the lines. You're a nurse.

    How do you respond to students who address you unprofessionally/informally (in person or via written communication)? IE “hey christina” I was always taught to address my superiors in a formal manner, is this no longer the expectation?
