Please don't delude yourself that Black folk only voted D and in large numbers b/c of Obama. That's just how we roll based on the *issues*.

That's the same calculation Black voters have made for the past 50 years. Why? Civil rights. Our #1 priority is freedom from oppression.

Consider it another facet of White privilege that your vote can be contingent upon luxuries apart from living and breathing while Black.

BLM is directly confronting Dem candidates b/c the perennially loyal Black Dem voter needs to know where they are on civil rights in *2015*.

Again, I am in no way suggesting the Democratic Party is a perfect steward of the Black vote, because it's NOT. But have you seen the GOP?

Also, none of us has the time or luxury to "symbolically" waste our vote on 3rd party candidates who have zero realistic chance of winning.

Voting your pure White liberal conscious and checking the box for Nader in 2000 is one reason why we're in the hole we're in now, people.
