    Our Barrow site is known as the home of UK submarine building. But our 150th anniversary has been a chance to reflect on our history of building liners like Himalaya in 1948.

    The team will be hosting a drop in session this Friday to discuss the great regeneration projects planned for the town, including the new University Campus & Earnse Bay Outdoor Centre! Really exciting times ahead for Barrow!

    This week we were able to reflect on the proud history of Walney Airfield, now owned and operated by BAE Systems. From its wartime beginnings, the airfield is now a modern facility enabling connectivity across the UK for the submarines enterprise.
