@dnanian Except that in practice something always goes wrong with Bluetooth so I have to pair and unpair rather frequently.

@mjtsai I’ve honestly never had to do that, over many years. Not once (except if I somehow cleared all pairings). -
@dnanian Lucky you I guess? Across multiple phones and headsets (different brands) I probably do it every few weeks. -
@mjtsai Wow. Are you sure power cycling won’t “fix” it? Apple’s BT stack isn’t great. -
@dnanian Powercycling the headset doesn’t always. Not sure about the phone; it’s faster to re-pair than to reboot. -
@mjtsai Yeah, but the question is “where is the problem” - the stack/phone or the pairing. I think it’s the former - pairing is OK. -
@dnanian Could be. In that case, let me rephrase as “reliability” rather than “pairing“ being the #1 consideration. -
