@dnanian Is it normal in the new version for Smart Update to copy a lot more (10x) files the first time? Happened for both main disks.

@mjtsai The first time, yes - it has to do with deeper EA comparisons and ordering. Should only happen the first time.

@mjtsai No, don’t worry - you should be fine. (You can’t use the mod date, because you can’t *set* the mod date.) -

@mjtsai Yeah. Trying to set it to a value changes the metadata which triggers a “current time” value - cascading set.
