Very sad to see this. Walgreens has closed 17 locations in the past five years and many elderly and disabled people are having a hard time getting their medicines.

You think they can just go to the next one? Assuming all those stores are in the US which is 3.8M square miles, that's an average of over 400 square miles between stores. When 17 close, there isn't always another 1 just down the street.

almost every walgreens I’ve seen has a cvs directly across the street, so yes, I do think that. also there’s no point in taking averages when most people live in cities or towns.
