Budget resolution requires only a simple majority vote. If the Republicans really wanted To govern that’s what they would pass not series of continuing resolutions which require 60 votes. Think before you criticize

GOP is in the drivers seat. Yes, the Democrats can use senate rules to filibuster, but that’s been the case for 100+ years. The rule exists so that the majority party needs to work with the other half of the country. There was a bipartisan deal. Trump torpedoed it.
