Senator Macdonald just asked if Huang Xiangmo (Mr Huang) was "any relation" to Labor Senator Penny Wong.
Labor senator Louise Pratt responds: "Huang. H-U-A-N-G."
"Oh, okay," Senator Macdonald replies. #auspol
Macdonald reluctantly apologises for his remarks about Huang Xiangmo and Penny Wong. Macdonald claims it was a "throwaway line" and accuses Labor senators of being "very sensitive" about it. "I think if she (Penny Wong) does take offense to that she has a very, very thin skin."
Maybe the more pertinent question may be; "Is he related to Mr Dutton?"
I have a suggestion for the soon to be former senator: When you are retired, Mr Macdonald, you should cultivate your bile and sell it.
