That is fantastic news that you were actively seeking to abide by the law in the UK and pay the
£1 billion VAT bill for providing transportation services

NHS? With the volume of accidents they’ve been involved in, its surprising the NHS hasn’t been taken to the brink of bankruptcy.

Plus police time/street furniture replacements etc etc

Where are the “professional” drivers that you profess to use? You do not have any Licensed London Taxi Drivers on your platform. Very misleading information peddled to the American media Dara. Will
@nytimes fall for your lies? Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@dkhos Keep the head up, you’re doing great! There are good reasons behind much of the legislation in place across Europe. I really appreciate Uber working to challenge/change the laws/practices that are blatantly anti competitive, while ensuring workers rights are still protected -
You're praising a company for challenging anti-competitive practices whose business MO is to eradicate domestic competition and create a monopoly. Blimey mate, go and give your head a shake will ya?
-
Europe has a different institutional setup, different social settlement. Uber started out ultra aggressive, but have come to learn that that approach won’t work. The consumer has benefited though. Disruption and progress.
-
Be careful what you're cheering for, fella. They're not burning through $3 billion a year to compete with local competition. Consumers only win short term. Bigger picture won't be nearly as palatable.pic.twitter.com/l974OmYrz5

Dara, you're going to learn a valuable lesson from all this. British working class people are a force to be reckoned with. We have always been fighters and you will never win against us. If anywhere in the world will bring this company down it will be London.
