It's quite difficult to build your own computer that operates only off of battery, even from off the shelf parts. It's unfortunate.
I must not be understanding this, because a Raspberry PI with a lithium battery is, well, tractable. What am I missing?

My plan is to convert a small tool bag into a digital tool bag with it's own wifi, network, safe charging station, and ideally it's own internal computing resources. Tough to do with something like a NUC.
