Entropy gathering tip: PRNGs, LFSR, xor, addition, bitshifting, hashing, etc. produce zero entropy whatosever and may well lessen entropy.

Entropy is the total number of states a system could possibly be in. It is not "how random does this string look?".

Kolmogorov complexity is aka algorithmic entropy. So that isn't *entirely* true. There's a correlation.

I agree with you that 'whitening' your entropy is fallacy. The entropy of a tweet is not 1,111,998^140, though.
