Things you should learn: I write my name as grey in lower case because it's not a "proper" name.

People's names are proper nouns by definition. I have, to be clear, no beef with how you style yours. bell hooks, e.e. cummings

For me, grey is, and always has been, a chosen name, a pseudonym. I do not now, nor ever, wish to be addressed by my given name.

not sure what the capital letter has to do with it? grey, Joe, DeRay, all proper nouns, you prefer a miniscule style, ok by me

Some systems will automatically capitalize such fields, though it's been a while since I've encountered ALL CAPS they existed too.

Oh for sure. ISO is also a proper noun... but not an acronym! It's a stylized prefix.

Ah yes, though there's also the fictional TRON 2 ISOs which I am less clear about aside from Olivia Wilde being attractive. ;)

I don't blame you, the movie itself wasn't particularly memorable, but it was decent audio visual candy at least. :)
