You know things are bad when scientists are suggesting that we latently medicate everyone with antidepressants via our drinking waterhttps://www.vox.com/future-perfect/2018/10/24/18010592/future-perfect-podcast-lithium-drinking-water-suicide …

"dump toxic antidepressants in the water supply" sounds bad, "make the water more like Appolinaris or San Pelligrino", not so much.
-
why stop there? tapwater should obviously be La Croix

lol, what is the optimum level of flouride, and which type of flouride are you talking about?
-
High enough to prevent teeth from falling out Fluoride is fluoride, the cation doesn't really matter
-
how does watering my lawn with flourided water keep my teeth from falling out? ps. there are a number of different types of flouride. of course it matters.
-
Plants use fluoride as well. There is one kind of flouride ion, all that matters is that the salt dissolves, the cation is considered separately.
-
Is that why we put fluoride in the water? as fertilizer?
-
Is it good for my skin? I use much more tap water to bathe than I do drink. Does it help my teeth if it doesn't actually touch my teeth? Has the rate of cavities dropped at the same rate in places that don't add fluoride to their water supply?
-
yes, it's hard to drink water without it touching your teeth (but yes), no it hasn't
-
lol how tf do you drink? seems like we sure do waste a lot of this valuable fluoride by putting it in the water when 99%+ of it doesn't contact a tooth, ever. tooth decay rates are falling in all western nations regardless of fluoridation.pic.twitter.com/vGpZPrhA2n

Rubbish sales spin. Please provide sources where the intent has to been to bring it closer to 'optimum' natural water.
