I’m fuming at the moment after speaking to your customer services rep, she couldn’t even give me a straight answer to how much is the admin fee to cancel within the 14 cooling off period! Considering the whole business model seems to be about shafting people u think she’d know

Hi Howard, as a broker, we have to be as transparent as possible about our fee's and charges. There is a non-refundable £20 arrangement fee applied to all polices so I apologise if you were not aware of this. Thanks ~ Jamie

You’ve charged me £8 additional premium for getting the date I bought the car wrong, and added £30 admin fee to it. That’s what I’m angry about! Who remembers exactly when they bought a car down to the month years ago? No one else has ever questioned it based on a comp site form

If it only costs £20 to cancel a policy why am I being charged a random £30 fee for a date being incorrect. That’s totally unreasonable when I’ve owned the vehicle for years. It’s not like I’m a kid that’s just bought the thing.

It’s not reasonable to expect someone to remember down to the month when they bought a car they’ve had for years. This is possibly in breach of the unfair contract legislation.
