My first comic is written so that if it was translated to film, it would cost hundreds of millions of dollars. Cause that’s how you get paid, baby.

Finally someone said it. Frankly this conversation has been long overdue. Let's talk about the state of entertainment industry unions in the UK and how much people (below the line and above the line) get paid compared to the US and how that came about

The WGA strike should be a huge eye opener for us here in the UK, they're pretty much trying to avoid their system turning into ours. Not sure how we improve ours, but hopefully it'll make more people realise: things ain't right, here.

The #WGA strike is, I hope, just the first. Something has to fundamentally change in this society. The balance of power is lopsided to a degree it hasn’t been in a hundred years. Here’s hoping this strike is the tip of the spear. Someone has to do something. Why not us?

Me: I live in a world where people think we should kill other people who annoy us Hobbes: On no. Sounds like you live in the State of Nature. The solution to that is authoritarianism. Me: You say that, but in my world the authoritarians ALSO support vigilante justice Hobbes: Wut?

This is Jordan Neely. He was a Michael Jackson impersonator with a loving fan base, who documented his performances over the course of years. If you rode the subways in the last ten years and stumbled into a spry, joyful MJ, it was likely Neely. 🔗: m.youtube.com/watch?v=0al2FO
