We don't need 'nice guys' telling us not to wear makeup because 'we don't need it'. We aren't wearing it for you and we certainly don't need your reassurances. We are wearing it for us you arrogant turds.

If I don't think something is a compliment, then I will absolutely point that out. Telling me I don't need to wear makeup implies that they think I wear it because I think I need it, which means I am not comfortable in my skin without it. That doesn't compliment me.

Why is it that when I point something out, I'm automatically triggered? It's annoying to me, doesn't mean it causes me some full blown panic attack or PTSD break down. Why should I accept something I don't see as complimentary as a compliment? What's your problem with me being -
