Women in gaming are sometimes treated differently based on their gender, especially on Twitch and I think those involved wanted to do something against that. I think it was just handled poorly and wasn't well enough thought out.
So, that being said, let's make an effort to be nicer to our fellow peers in gaming. Gaming has been a massive escapism in my life that I used to deal with the bullying and tormenting I received growing up, so let's try not to drag down our gamespace with that hate.

I am by no means perfect. Sometimes I say dumb shit too, it's impossible for a perfect world, but making an effort to be kinder would be a good start!

The former, yes, but the latter is a sexual preference slur. (I have regretfully said it too in the past) but I'm making an effort to not use those kind of words derogatory.
People are just people, the world over, we just need to learn to see value in others, to see each person has their own story and not judge each one by their own life... Gaming is an environment where all should be equal. There's very little to divide 1 avatar from another, imo.
