Ok, so showing your body doesn't always equate to exploitation, and this is frustrating to see so often. People see a woman with cleavage on stream and immediately assume that's all she's got and she's attempting to build her brand based on that. Even if she is, who cares?

Also, the compliment said she "earned his follow" by not having nudity on her instagram. That's not even really a compliment. She's not being praised on anything she's done, she's being praised for not doing something that this dude apparently dislikes.

Snaps I’d agree with most of what you’re saying. I agree that not all female streamers who dress more liberally are using there body for views. However I think it’s a tragedy that some do because often the entire gender is punished for it. The only point 1/2

I’m trying to make here is that a compliment of “thanks for not dressing like a hoe/ exploiting your body for views ” does not necessarily put those who do down. By the nature of a compliment the statement is merely intended to show gratification for someone doing or not doing.

There are so many things wrong with this line of thinking though. I don't even know how many posts this will take. 1. There is no such thing as "dressing like a hoe". Attire does not imply sexual activity (or consent). Our bodies are not inherently sexual.

Dressing like a hoe certainly does exist. You have how a doctor dresses for work and how a stripper dresses for work. Professional vs hoe.

So all strippers are hoes then? If I wear a bikini am I a hoe? Does my sexual activity increase if I dance in a "suggestive" manner?

Yes stripper are hoes. If you wear a bikini for the sole intention of making money via giving a guy a boner... definition of hoe...

Is it though? I thought hoes = sexually promiscuous women What if a stripper doesn't even have sex? What if she's asexual?

I actually thought hoe was a shortened version of whore, which translates to prostitute which = selling sex in its most literal way. Women on Twitch aren't prostitutes, no matter how skimpy their clothing.

I like video games & talking to people so I made it my job. Some ladies love sex so they made it theirs. All are winning.
