Friend’s kid got harassed on instagram by an adult for being “fat, ugly, and ignorant” because she posted something anti-trump. His account was his real name & had his job in his bio. He got fired same day.

it shouldn't be ignored or tolerated, for sure. and there should be some level of consequence; a ban for bad behaviour at least... but I also don't think it's okay to dox someone and get people calling their boss or school because they said something shitty

if it's a bigger problem like constant harassment or something, that needs to be dealt with more severely. but the ability to do that online and even irl is limited. it's a weird, kind of squishy area that nobody really seems to agree on how to handle yet
