Tbh, I don't even want a pity sympathy email going out. If they aren't subbed, there's a reason for that. No need to guilt in any way.

I feel like that email should be a reminder that the sub is running out, not something "demanding" a resub. Some people forget to resub, some simply can't.

Sometimes you can't help but feel guilty or bad about unsubbing as some streamers notice that you're not subbed any more and mention it on stream, but this is just kicking someone when they're down imo

I've never noticed you do this so you're good, but i've experienced it personally in the past in other streams where they're like "omg what happened to your sub?" or "your badge is gone " and its not a nice feeling

I've definitely done this at times. Sometimes I don't even think before I say but I will try to be more conscious in the future!! <3

Most times you do say that people don't have to sub, though. So I guess there's a balance between questioning the absence of a sub and understanding that some people can't afford it.

Not even just afford. Some people don't want to sub and that's also totally OK!
