My camera shuts off after 30 minutes, does yours do the same?

Nope. Though for some cameras it's just a menu setting.

Would love to use a camera instead of webcam, but afraid of the problems some people get with the camera. Also setting up feels like it will be a lot! Curious about your thoughts when you use it!

Yea. DSLRs last roughly a year or so streaming. Their sensors start getting hot after 40 or so minutes.
